Car Auto Online - 2012 Ford B-MAX Price in Germany, New Ford MPV Specifications and Features - The American car manufacturer, Ford has announced pricing for the B-Max. The Ford’s all-new Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) will be released at price of 15,950 euros in Germany.

Ford has unveiled the B-Max to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and get positive responses as its attractive design. Ford set the price 15,950 euro for B-Max in Germany.

2012 Ford B-Max Specifications and Features

Ford B-Max features a sliding side door, called Easy Access Door System. The sliding door allows wider space when fully opened, as no pillars on it.

The innovative sliding door makes Ford B-Max has a side entrance 1.5 meters. The B-Max main rival, Vauxhall Meriva, has only 0.7 meters with FlexDoors model. The main material of door construction is ultra strong steel, which is five times stronger than common steel. Despite the stronger and stiffer, the door still has the standard weight.

Price of 15,950 euro is for B-Max standard version, which is equipped with 1.4 L Duratec petrol engine, generating power output 90-HP. Standard features of the B-Max include ABS brakes with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), ESP with traction control, Ford Easy Fuel, and IPS (Intelligent Safety System).

Safety features include airbags for driver and front passenger. Airbags for knees at back of driver seat and airbags for head and shoulder on the front and sides. There are also air pressure monitor, power steering, dynamic control and torque control.

2012 Ford B-Max Models and Prices

Ford said, the B-Max with 1.0 liter EcoBoost engine, which generates power 100 Hp will be released at 17 350 euro. While B-Max 120 HP version will be released at 18 350 euro. Both versions are spending an average of 4.9 liters of fuel per 100 km.

B-Max with 1.5-L TDCi generating 75 HP, will be priced at 17 250 euro and B-Max 1.6-liter TDCi engine producing 95 HP, will be sold at 18 750 euro.
