Car Auto Online | Chevrolet Sonic | General Motors has officially announced that the allnew B-segment car willbenamed Sonic, signaling the end of the Aveo nameplate here in the U.S.. First, we saw the Aveo 2012 atthe Paris Motor Show earlier this year, and the car will officially start production in 2011 some of GM's Orion assembly center in Michigan.
Chevrolet Sonic nameplate is used only in the United States, Canada and Mexico, a car destined for other markets will keep the name Aveo. Chris Perry, deputy head of GM's Chevrolet FOR U.S. market in September to explain the name change here in North America:
