Volkswagen Beetle 2012, VW beetle R Concept at the LA Auto Show 2011

Car Auto Online | Volkswagen Beetle 2012, VW beetle R Concept at the LA Auto Show 2011 | Volkswagen with the Beetle Concept R, VW offers an idea of what the future might look like high-performance bug. No word on what engine would power the production version of the Volkswagen Beetle R, but it does not take much to bring about change of style on the market.

Many external signals as the concept of Volkswagen R Beetle a more aggressive stance. The front bumper has larger holes for the engine and brake cooling, and there are subtle color hood vents body. Great fenders around alloy wheels of 20 inches.

Changes in the rear is designed to give the concept of VW Beetle R with optimal down-force. There is adiffuser under rear bumper , but it is overshadowed by a huge rear wing that looks like a tribute to "whale tail" Porsche 911s ofthe'80s.

Inside, the concept has new front bucket seats that would be comfortable in a race car, but are finished in gray and black leather . A new dashboard puts the tachometer front-and center , the pedals are finished in aluminum, and R logos abound .

With its Beetle 2012 redesign , the Volkswagen beetle traded seriously the cuteness . Without this change in attitude, an R version of the car would not make much sense, but now seems plausible.
